Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every stay at Alma del Almendral. By confirming a booking you accept these terms.

1. Host

2. Booking

A request through the website is not binding. Your booking is final once we have confirmed your stay in writing (by email) and received the deposit. You must be at least 18 years old to book.

3. Rates

All prices are in euros, per night for the whole apartment, including breakfast and VAT (IVA). A one-off cleaning fee of €60 applies per stay. Any tourist tax is stated separately. The price in our confirmation is binding.

4. Payment

On confirmation you pay a deposit of 30% of the total price. The balance is due no later than 30 days before arrival. For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, the full amount is due immediately. Payment is by bank transfer or through the payment link in our confirmation.

5. Cancellation by the guest

Up to 30 days before arrival you can cancel free of charge and receive a full refund of the deposit. For cancellations between 30 and 14 days before arrival, we charge 50% of the total price. For cancellations within 14 days of arrival, or if you do not show up, the full price is due. We recommend travel cancellation insurance.

6. Cancellation by the host

If we cannot host your stay due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, we refund all amounts paid in full. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

7. Arrival, departure and registration

Check-in is from 15:00, check-out before 11:00. Spanish law (Real Decreto 933/2021) requires us to register all guests on arrival. Please bring a valid passport or ID card for every guest.

8. House rules

The apartment sleeps a maximum of 2 people. Smoking indoors is not permitted. Parties and events are not permitted. Pets are welcome only with prior permission. Please respect the peace of the surroundings and nature.

9. Damage and liability

Please treat the apartment and its contents with care. We may charge for damage caused by you or your party during your stay. We are not liable for loss, theft or injury unless caused by our intent or gross negligence. Use of the terrace, the path and the surroundings is at your own risk.

10. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please tell us as soon as possible during your stay so we can resolve it right away. Official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) are available on request.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court as provided by law.
